Panel 3 - Rural Queer Voice in Science and Practice. Focuses on merging the academic and on-the-ground perspectives by including both researchers (Jaclyn Wypler and Isaac Leslie, Ph.D. students at University of Wisconsin-Madison) and queer farmers participating in their research (Talina Marshall Corvus, Blackbroom Farms in Gaston, OR and Katie Coppoletta or Tayne Reeve, Fiddlehead Farms, Corbett, OR). Queerness in agriculture is an emerging field of inquiry at the intersections of farming practice, gender, sexuality, and politics.
