The documentary The Last Crop draws upon the emotions and deep values of family farmers Annie and Jeff Main’s struggle to save their farm’s future to address two of the most important challenges of our time: the sustainability of our food system and the existence of the very farms and communities that are at its foundation. Development looms. Children leave. Ideals are questioned. Their legacy remains uncertain.
