Like many developing and developed countries, African countries face the problem that many of its economic development activities have not been as fruitful as envisioned, as large segments of the population, particularly in rural areas, or those who migrated to the cities from the country, have not successfully integrated into the economic development of their country. A group of African scholars in disciplines comprising entrepreneurship, strategy, organizational behavior, and accounting will discuss their view based on their expertise and activities of the role of African scholars in the economic development of Africa.
