This paper is a starting point in a dialogue for examination of reframing the theoretical method for diversity and inclusion research in addressing the problem of indigeneity and identity. Current literature has not resolved the problems of indigeneity and identity when researching global and local environments relating to diversity and inclusion issues in organizations. The background problems and a roadmap will be provided to assist in creating a new theoretical framework with suggested alternatives. Within this context, the paper examines the role of the researcher and the position of neutrality related to the method used when communicating research results to a global audience.
