The paper examines the effect of work life balance on organizational commitment of employees in BED Bank. A total of 378 respondents completed the survey. Descriptive statistics results revealed that employees exhibited low level of work-life balance and organizational commitment with low level of variability. The result of the regression analysis indicated that work-life balance as a positive predictor of organizational commitment. Among the three dimensions of work-life balance, work-personal life enhancement was found out to be the highest predictor of organizational commitment. Work-personal life enhancement was the significant predictor of affective commitment. The same is also true for the continuance commitment. However, the significant predictor of normative commitment was found out to be personal life interference with work. The researchers suggest work-life balance measures such as work related child care facilities, parental leave, and flexible work arrangements for improving the work-life balance and the organizational commitment of the employees.
