Rose Orlando

York University

Rose Orlando has worked at York University for 32 years, starting in Computing Services then moving to the Registrar's Office for 12 years. During that time, she worked on the development of the Student Information system along with many other student web apps. In 2002, Rose returned to the central Computing department and is now a Senior IT Project Manager working on various projects to enhance services to students, staff and faculty. Rose has been the Project Delivery Manager for the Office 365 Migration and Deployment project.

Bruce Fisher

York University

Bruce Fisher is the Manager of Systems Management Services which is responsible for maintaining the central Server, Storage, Backup and Mail systems and infrastructure at York.  The team utilizes technology from multiple vendors including Dell, VMWare, Microsoft, Ubuntu, Redhat, Commvault and Oracle.    Bruce was recently seconded in the role of technical lead for our major migration to Office 365 from primarily Lotus Notes and an IMAP/Courier back end system as well as Microsoft Exchange.  Bruce has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry working primarily in various Infrastructure support and management roles.
