From Stone Tablets to Wearable Technologies: A History of (Cyber) Security and Its Relationship to How We Collectively See the World

Western University

Colin is Director of Information Systems and the IMPACT Group at Western University's Faculty of Education.  Colin has had a long held interest in areas of Cyber Security and has sat on Western's Working Group for Information Security for many years.  Colin is in the midst of finalizing his doctoral work (late Spring 2018) where he is investigating CRM Use in Higher Education Student Recruitment. Jeffrey is the Central Information Security Officer at Western University, where he has championed that institution’s efforts on cyber awareness, information security policies, and overall risk analysis.  Jeffrey has held multiple roles in leading information security strategies, including working with healthcare data in globally recognizable health research institute and protecting data with the Royal Canadian Navy.  Jeffrey is co-chair of CUCCIO's security special interest group with representatives of universities across Canada.
