Hugo Dominguez started his career in 1998 at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a consultant in information security before joining the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2004 and later McGill University in 2013 in both cases as the Director of IT Security and Infrastructure. In all of these positions, M. Dominguez played an active role in defining the operational requirements, managing large IT services portfolios and defining evolution strategies for a large IT environment (125,000 users, 12,000 computers, 26,000 concurrent wireless users, 1000+ servers, etc.) where IT security needs to be balanced with innovation and knowledge sharing. M. Dominguez is also a lecturer in multiple universities on the topics of IT security, is CISA and ITIL certified.
