Jeffrey Gardiner

Western University

Jeff Gardiner is the Central Information Security Officer for Western University in London ON and is co-chair of CUCCIO's Security Special Interest Group.  Jeff has exhibited leadership at a national level to safeguard Canadian University campus from information security threats for 8 years.  Jeff is also a veteran of the Afghanistan conflict and spent time in the Royal Canadian Navy.

Jason Testart

University of Waterloo

Jason Testart is the Director of Information Security Services at the University of Waterloo. Jason started his career as a system administrator, focusing on Sun Solaris security, eventually branching into network security and ultimately information security leadership. Jason and his team support a plethora of activities at Waterloo: From network security monitoring to identity & access management to cyber security assessments of research projects.
