CUCCIO Professional Development Program for Aspiring IT Leaders

Gayleen has been the Assistant Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at McMaster University since August 2017. Gayleen has been in Higher Ed IT for 18 years and moved to her current position from the University of Guelph where she was the Deputy CIO and an Associate Director for their central IT organization. At McMaster, Gayleen works closely with her academic and administrative partners to explore new ways in which technology can support the mission of the university, while cultivating a strong and collaborative IT campus community.  Her passion is leadership and building high performing teams and she participates in a number of provincial, national and North American Higher Ed and IT organizations including OUCCIO, the ORION CIO Advisory Group, CUCCIO, and EDUCAUSE.
