Jon is the Chief Information Security Officer for the University of Saskatchewan and has been with the institution for over fifteen years. Prior to his current role as Chief Information Security Officer, Jon worked as the Security Architect for campus and previously worked as a software developer and systems analyst. Jon holds an M.Sc. in Computer Security from Royal Holloway - University of London and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan.

Shari Baraniuk

Shari has been with the University of Saskatchewan for over twelve years. Prior to embarking on the role of Chief Information Officer within Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Shari was the Director, Client Services in ICT. She also held the positions of Director, Systems Support and Development with Financial Services for a number of years as well as the Associate Director, Information Technology with Facilities Management. Before joining the University of Saskatchewan, Shari worked for a number of organizations including the City of Saskatoon, LGS Group Inc., Canadian Pacific Rail System, SHL Systemhouse and Andersen Consulting. Her roles have always been focused on quality assurance, business analysis and operational effectiveness. Shari holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Operations Research Management from the University of Manitoba and an MBA in Information Technology Management from Athabasca University.
