Professor Kelly’s research interests are in evidence based approaches to health improvement, methodological and philosophical problems in public health research and evidence based medicine, evidence synthesis, coronary heart disease prevention, chronic illness, disability, physical activity, health inequalities, behaviour change, social identity and community involvement in health promotion.
