Gustavo Azevedo received the B.S. degrees, the M.S. degrees and the Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco. He worked as a visiting scholar at the Polytechnical University of Catalunya, Spain, from 2008 to 2009. Since January 2014, he is working as associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Pernambuco. He has experience in Electric Engineering, focusing on Power Electronics, acting on the following subjects: microgrid, distributed generation, renewable energy, photovoltaic systems and power quality.
