Sergio Frederico Pires Dias received the Bacharel degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from Federal University of Pampa at Bagé, RS in 2013. He is currently with the Graduate Program on Electrical Engineering of UNIPAMPA at Alegrete, RS as a Master degree candidate. His main research focus is on the control of grid connected converters for application in Microgrids.

Abstract

This paper proposes the use of an alternative current control strategy for grid connected Voltage Source Inverters (VSIs) via LCL-filters. In this strategy, the weighted average current flowing through the LCL-filter inductors... [ view full abstract ]
