A. M. Nicolini was born in Venâncio Aires, Brazil, in 1989. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), Santa Maria, Brazil, in 2015. He has worked with power electronics at UFSM since 2010, where he is currently working toward the M.S. degree. He is with the Power Eletronics and Control Group (GEPOC) since 2013. His research interests include modeling and control of power converters, modulation, wind energy and microgeneration.
