Pedro Gomes Barbosa received the Electrical Engineering degree from Federal University of Juiz de Fora, MG, Brazil, in 1986 and the Master and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from Federal Univsersity of Rio de Janeiro, RJ, in 1994 and 2000,respectively. Since 1999, he is with Department of Electrical Engineering of Federal University of Juiz de Fora, MG. He is currently an Associate Professor, with research in the areas: active filter harmonics, renewable energy sources and power converters applied to the electric power systems.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to design partial state feedback controllers, in order to reduce the number of sensors needed to implement this strategy for current control of grid-connected converters. The resulting control... [ view full abstract ]
