José Antenor Pomilio is Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Campinas, where he teaches since 1984. From 1988 to 1991 he was head of the Power Electronics Group at the Brazilian Synchrotron Laboratory. He was president of the Brazilian Power Electronics Association (SOBRAEP, 2001/2002) and member of the IEEE Power Electronics Society Administrative Committee (1999/2003). Since 2004 he is associated editor of the IEEE Trans. on Power Electronics.
