Luiz Henrique Silva Colado Barreto, received the PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia in 2003 . He is currently full professor at the Federal University of Ceará , which is the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering ( DEE - UFC ) . Acts as reviewer for the journals IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics , IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics and IEEE Transactions on Industry application and the journal of SOBRAEP. He was Brazilian Society of Power Electronics treasurer from 2010 to 2011 . Member of the Brazilian Society of Power Electronics (SOBRAEP) and Industry Applications Societies ( IEEE / IAS ), Power Electronics ( IEEE / PELS ) , Industrial Electronics ( IEEE / IES ) . His field of research interest are: ZVS and ZCS techniques , structures of dc-dc converter control, power factor and harmonics , UPS systems and multilevel converters .

Paulo Peixoto
