TORQUE CONTROL OF A DC MACHINE FOR WIND TURBINE EMULATION

Graduated from the Federal University of Santa Maria in Electrical Engineering in 1997. He obtained a master's degree in 2000 and PhD in 2005 both in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). From 2002 to 2003 he was a visiting researcher with the Power Electronics Group at the University of Padova, Italy. Between 2005 and 2007 he was Senior Researcher at the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering from UFSM, and between 2013 and 2014 carried out research related to his post-doctoral training at the University of Toronto, Canada. He is currently Professor Doctor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering of São Carlos, University of Sao Paulo. His areas of interest are: digital control of power converters, power quality, active filters and alternative energy sources.
