Luan C. S. Mazza was born in Limoeiro do Norte, Ceará, Brazil. He received the Technologist degree in industrial mechatronics from the Federal Institute of Ceará, Limoeiro do Norte, Brazil, in 2011, and the M. Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil, in 2014. Currently, he is Professor of the Federal Institute of Ceará, Cedro, Brazil and Ph.D. student in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil, since 2015. His interest areas include static power converters, soft commutation and renewable energy applications.
