Evandro de C. Gomes was born in Batalha, PI, Brazil, in 1977. He received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Maranhão, Brazil, in 2009. Since 2004, he has been Professor at the Federal Institute of Maranhão. His main areas of interest include microelectronics, instrumentation and power electronics applied to renewable energy sources. Since 2009, he is a member of IEEE Power Electronics Society, IEEE Industry Applications Society and IEEE Circuits & Systems Society.
