Saranga Weerasinghe received B.Sc. Eng. (Hons.) degree in electrical engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2008. He is currentlyworking toward the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand. From 2007 to 2012, he was an Electrical Engineer for ABB AG, Mannheim, Germany. His research interests include the areas of power electronics, inductive power transfer, grid converter topologies and matrix converters.
