Gustavo Lambert was born in Palmas-PR, Brazil, in 1989. He received the B.S. degree (2012) and M.Sc. degree (2015) in Electrical Engineering from Santa Catarina State University, Joinville-SC, Brazil. Currently he is pursuing the Electrical Engineering doctoral degree in the same institution in the Electrical Power Processing group (nPEE). His current research interests are in high-power electronics, dc-dc and ac-dc conversion, and VSC-HVDC systems.

Abstract

This paper presents the modelling and control strategy for a new high-power multilevel multipulse medium frequency-isolated dc-dc converter. The new converter is composed by a Modular Multilevel Converter (MMC) associated to... [ view full abstract ]
