Jose Rafael Lebre was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1989. received the Engineer degree in electrical engineering from the Universidade Federal Fluminense and received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2014. He is currently pursuing the D.Sc. degree from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.His current research interests are in high power electronics, FACTS and MMC-HVDC systems.
