A Quasi-Sliding Mode Speed and Position Observer Applied to a PMSM with a Chattering Elimination Filter

Douglas Dotto de Oliveira was born in Porto Alegre, in 1984. He received the Electrical Engineering B. S. degree from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) in 2009. He has received the M. S. degree in 2011 from the same institution. Nowadays he is doctoral student at UFSM, working at the Power Electronics and Control Group (GEPOC). His current research interests include sliding mode observers and controllers, electrical drives, permanent magnet synchronous motors and energy efficiency. He has also worked in themes like adaptive control and nonlinear stability analysis.
