Lenon Schmitz (S’15) was born in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil, in 1990. He received the B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), Florianópolis, Brazil, in 2012 and 2015, respectively. Currently he is a Ph.D student at the UFSC, bound to Power Electronics Institute (INEP-UFSC). His interests include power converters and grid-connected systems.
