Alysson Machado has bachelor’s degree in Control and Automation Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. During the undergraduate course, he joined scientific initiation programs in signal and systems, power electronics and photovoltaic energy. Currently, He pursues a master's degree in electrical engineering, and works at Tesla - Power Engineering research group as an assistent reasearcher in a Reasearch and Development project from ANEEL and funded by COELBA energy concessionaire, involving electronic transformers and silicon carbide power semiconductors in a multilevel cascaded H-Bridge topology prototype, for a large scale PV system. His main activities are the modelling of power systems and hardware design using professional PCB design tools.

Abstract

This paper brings the PV model of a real PV farm installation with a total power of 917 kW. All the elements of the PV farm (panels and inverter) are described. Simulation on PSCAD and experimental results at the installation... [ view full abstract ]
