Mauro André Pagliosa was born in Bela Vista, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, in 1979. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianopolis, Brazil, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. Currently he is professor at the Department of Control and Automation Engineering of Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology Catarinense, Luzerna, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
