Dr. Raphael Amaral da Câmara received the B. Sc., M. Sc. and Dr. degrees in electrical engineering from Federal University of Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil, in 2005, 2008 and 2012, respectively.From 2010 to 2014, he was Professor in the Department of Technological and Environmental Sciences, Rural Federal University of Semi-Arid, Mossoró, Brazil, where he was the Coordinator of the energy engineering graduate course. From 2014 to 2015, he was Professor in the Engineering and Sustainable Development Institute, International Integration of African-Brazilian Lusophony University, Redenção, Brazil. He is currently Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, Federal University of Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil.His main fields of interest are static converters topologies, digital control with FPGA, uninterruptible power systems, power factor correction techniques and, renewable energy systems. Dr. da Câmara is a member of the Brazilian Power Electronics Society (SOBRAEP).
