Sampath Jayalath received the B.Eng.(Hons.) degree in Electronic Engineering in 2013. From January 2014, he works in the Advanced Machines and Energy Systems Research Group of the University of Cape Town. His research interests include issues of current source inverter, filter design, digital control of power electronics converters, with special focus on grid-connected applications.
