A New Automatic Reliable Satellite Image Georeferencing Procedure Based on Linear Features

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at C-CORE, Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am working on UAV image processing for environmental mapping focusing on forest height estimation. I have a PhD in Remote Sensing/Photogrammetry from K.N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran where I received my M.Sc. in Photogrammetry and B.Sc. in Geomatics Engineering. My research experience include 3D spatial information extraction, image matching and registration, optimization algorithms, and the applications of linear features in photogrammetry.
