The role of a Third Independent Party to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals

Graduated in Political Science, she attended a Master in European studies at the European College of Parma.
She started her career in 1992 in UNI – the Italian Standardization Body, focusing on studies related to the standardization and certification schemes. She joined Bureau Veritas in 2009, in charge of the development of Social Responsibility services, acting as Lead Auditor and Lead Tutor SA8000 and Lead Auditor for the Assurance of Sustainability Reports.
In 2016 she has been appointed Manager of the Sustainability Sector, covering issues related to Climate Change, Energy, Workers’ Rights, Community development. She is project manager in international projects of supply chain management. She takes part in Sodalitas working groups and represents Sodalitas in ASVIS, working group on Goal 12 on Sustainable Consumption and Production. Project leader of the UNI working group that has worked out the publication “Prassi di riferimento UNI 18:2016 – Guidance to the application of ISO 26000”.
