Applying differential ion-mobility spectrometry to improve LC-MS/MS analysis of emerging organic contaminants

Chunyan Hao obtained a doctoral degree in Mass Spectrometry Application at Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She then advanced her research experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Water Quality Centre at Trent University, Canada. She joined the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) in 2001 as a Senior Development Scientist. Dr. Hao is an expert in organic contaminant analysis and has published ~40 research papers in peer-review journals and over 100 presentations at scientific conferences/workshops. She is currently involved with method development for environmental monitoring programs, emergency response and litigation support to ensure safe drinking water and healthy environment in Ontario in collaboration with MOECC colleagues, other government, academia and industry partners.
