Since 1986, Dr. Cheng engaged in the teaching and research in the areas of international trade, international direct investment, international finance and open economy development, and she has tremendous achievements in theory and policy research of international economics. She has published over 100 papers on the domestic and international journals, and published over 20 scholarly monographs in China. She was the Senior Visiting Professor in Columbia University in New York (2006) and Senior Visiting Professor in New York City University (2000).
