Frederico José de Oliveira received the B.S. degree (2016) in Electrical Engineering from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais, Brazil. He is currently a M.S. candidade of Electrical Engineering at Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte. His research interests are power eletronics, renewable energy systems, and signal processing.

Alex-Sander Amável Luiz

Alex-Sander Amável Luiz (M’1996) received the Bachelor in 1993 and Master degrees in Electrical Engineering in 1996 from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais-UFMG, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He also received Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais-UFMG in 2009. Since 1996 he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, at Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais-CEFET-MG, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where he works as Associate Professor teaching courses on industrial electronics, power electronics, energy conversion and electrical machines. His study field encompasses the design and development of high efficiency ac drives and low-harmonics power converters. His research interests include also real time control, high-power converters, active and passive harmonic filters, electrical drives and alternative energy generation including dc and ac microgrids.

Elza Koeler De Barros Ribeiro

Elza Koeler de Barros Ribeiro (M’1999) was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1960. She received the degree in Electrical Engineering from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC-MG), Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1984, and the M.EE. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1999. Since 1994, she has been technical professor in the Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG).

Allan Cupertino

CEFET-MG: Centro Federal de Ensino Tecnológico de Minas Gerais

Allan Fagner Cupertino is PhD student at Federal University of Minas Gerais and assistant professor at Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais, Brazil. His main research interests include renewable power generation systems, control applied of power electronics, multifunctional inverters, modular multilevel converters and reliability of power electronic converters.
