Omid Salari (S’17) was born in Noorabad Mamasani, Iran, in 1991. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Isfahan, Iran, in 2013 and K.N.Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2015, respectively. He is Currently a member of ePOWER, the Queens Centre for Energy and Power Electronics Research Group, Kingston, Canada, where is working towards his Ph.D. in Power Electronics. His research interests include switching power converters, modulation and control of multilevel inverters, and electric vehicles.
