Biography - Semih Isik The presenter is currently pursuing his M.Sc. at North Carolina State University at Raleigh, NC under Dr. Subhashish Bhattacharya. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Nigde University, Turkey in 2014. He stayed as a researcher at RWTH Aachen university before joining at NC State University. His current research is focused on Modular Multilevel Converters and on dynamic control of FACTs devices to enable large scale penetration of renewable energy resources.
