Nataraj Pragallapati received Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India. He is currently pursuing the Post-Doctoral degree with the Department of Electrical Engineering, New Mexico State University, USA. He also worked for GE, Hyd., India, as a Project Engineer during 2008–2009. His areas of research include Global and Distributed MPPT schemes for PV arrays under partially shaded conditions and active power decoupling schemes for single phase grid connected systems, active islanding detection methods, active damping techniques, circulating current issues in parallel connected inverters, sliding mode based voltage controllers, and energy management of AC/DC microgrids.
