Bill Diong received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He then gained valuable practical experience as a Senior Research Engineer with Sundstrand Aerospace (now part of UTC Aerospace Systems) before embarking on an academic career in 1995. He is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Kennesaw State University in Marietta, GA. His present research interests include power electronic systems, advanced power and energy systems, and dynamic systems and control.
