The panel discussion addressed the academic and professional engagement of college and university professors in retirement. Perspectives of those recently retired as well as those approaching retirement were presented and discussed. The emphasis of the symposium was on audience participation and a guided discussion of the various issues and opportunities to be faced in remaining engaged in retirement.
