Operations in the real estate industry are rarely standardized. Analyzing the processes involved in this industry can yield significant benefits. This paper focuses on applying principles from the theory of constraints, as discussed in Goldratt’s book “The Goal”, to the real estate industry. This paper offers a practical perspective to improving ‘throughput’ in the real estate industry.
