Session will address teaching in large classes, updating course content to ensure that students will be prepared to make sense of data that they will be encountering to guide business decision making, obtaining the proper balance between working problems from scratch and learning to use statistical software with real (and large) data sets, and transitioning from having students merely learn a statistical procedure to problem solving with data. Audience members are encouraged to join in the discussion of these topics.
