Radio astronomy is the study of celestial objects at radio frequencies. One can find the temperature of a celestial radio source by treating it as a blackbody emitter using the efficiency of the detector for the bandwidth frequency. When treating the Sun and the Moon as blackbodies, one will find the Sun to have a higher intensity and temperature than the moon. Therefore, my observations of the Sun will be a higher temperature and intensity than the Moon.
