				    How do we understand sport? How do we understand ourselves within the context of sport? Using the lens of feminist phenomenology, this project aims to decipher the epistemic pathways we take in knowing sport. Influenced by my own experiences as an athlete, my argument uses female embodiment to consider how society has not only changed how our bodies look, but how they move. I pull on examples provided by feminist philosophers, phenomenologists and philosophers of sport to show how promising the lived body can be for understanding of athletics, and the world beyond.
