The History of Christianity in Africa is always associated with colonization. However, Ethiopia is an ancient African state to accept Christianity in the 4th century way before colonization.The Ethiopian Orthodox Church has played a great role in shaping the history, politics and ancient civilization of the Country . The coexistence of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, Islam and protestant Churches have made a multi religious country. In this presentation, I will talk bout the History of Christianity in Ethiopia and the doctrinal difference between the old religion, Ethiopian Orthodox church and the newly arrived the Pentecostal movements.
