I have been tasked with designing a new transportation hub for Burlington. It is to be situated at the waterfront overseeing Lake Champlain and has to accommodate the rail transportation as well buses, cars and their passengers. My design aims to connect man and machine in a non-intrusive and elegant way that takes advantage of the beautiful waterfront. I also aim to create a destination for people to experience contemporary art and socialize with their friends and family as part of my second program. My project is titled “The Bridge” because It will bridge man and machine, leisure and activity and finally land and water.
