The idea of Macaroni and Choose (MAC) was conceived at Middlebury College's entrepreneurial program, MiddCORE, in the summer of 2015 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. The concept began with introducing a range of high quality supermarket macaroni and cheese condiments, since a brand line of such condiments does not exist. The need to test the idea led to the MAC Truck at Middlebury College. The MAC Truck serves Middlebury College students and the Middlebury community local and organic macaroni and cheese late at night. While the only food served by the MAC Truck is mac and cheese, customers can choose from an array of condiments to add to their macaroni and cheese, keeping the base dish exciting and refreshing every time one chooses to order. My research explores people's preferred mac and cheese condiments, from options such as fresh thyme, fresh rosemary, corn, peas, etc. The MAC Truck is set to launch at Middlebury mid March, and I will be keeping record of people's mac and cheese condiment preferences. The information I obtain from this research will allow me to design a supermarket brand line of mac and cheese condiments which I hope to launch in the future.
