On campus, the discourse on diversity often omits discussion of religion. As a way to address this omission, I’ve embarked on a narrative journalistic project to highlight students’ unique religious experiences on campus, particularly exploring how religion shapes their understandings of identity, culture, and purpose. Importantly, these nine narratives interrogate mainstream assumptions and stereotypes associated with religious traditions. Given our political climate, now more than ever, these narratives are of paramount importance to this campus and the country as we work towards greater understanding and acceptance of difference. Take a listen and enjoy!
