Pavlov's Dog is an in-progress animated short directed by Ioana Uricaru of the film department, with Daniel Houghton from Middlebury's Animation Studio and students Katrina Moore and Coumba Winfield. Pavlov's Dog is a stop-motion drawn animation with a runtime of under five minutes, to be completed by the end of the spring term. The story is set in 1890s Russia, in Ivan Pavlov's animal experimentation lab. It is a comedy that depicts the daily routine of the scientist and his favorite dog, Druzhok.
For the poster presentation, completed clips of animation will be shown, with visual aids showing the process of character creation.
