Techno-economic and environmental assessment of the conversion of CO2 into methanol

Nicolas Meunier

University of Mons

Nicolas MEUNIER obtained in 2013 two Master Degrees in Chemical, Material Sciences and Energy Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of Mons (Polytec UMONS – Belgium) and from the Technical University of Vienna (Austria). In 2013, he began his Ph.D. Thesis in the Thermodynamics Department of the University of Mons in collaboration with the European Cement Research Academy (ECRA) on the design and optimization of the capture, purification and conversion of CO2 coming from the cement sector. In 2014, he was granted the Belgian National Research Fellowship for the focus of his works on the CO2 catalytic conversion into methanol.
